Question

How does a coaching process work, how do your clients come to you?

Answer

Most clients reach out because of a referral. The first contact is often via the contact form on this website. Usually we then arrange a telephone appointment via email or the booking tool. This first interview is always free of charge. The client describes why he or she is looking for a coach and where the journey should go. If I feel I can help, I offer the client to work with me. And when the good vibes are on both sides, we make an appointment for our first coaching session.

Question

What concepts and methods do you work with?

Answer

Soul Art is an integrative philosophical model I developed based on the ancient tantric and yogic traditions, but at the same time integrating neuroscience. I use this model because it enables us to understand the structure of the human ego on a universal level. This is essential for anticipating the client's current "point of view".

What I choose as intervention with a client depends on his or her needs. I will always choose the easiest and most effective path to understanding, integration and relief. In some cases this might involve sharing life stories, in other cases we might go straight to a Soul Art Tranceformation session. As a NLP Master Coach, NLP naturally also serves me as an ever evolving "toolbox".

Over the last 15 years I have also incorporated techniques such as EFT (meridian tapping) and kinesiology, as these techniques are often very effective in making the client aware of his or her part of the "problem". And of course my extensive experience as a yoga teacher provides me with a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of body, mind and Soul.

Question

What happens during a typical Coaching Session??

Answer

Each session begins with a conversation and a hot or cold drink. Depending on the need for clarification, this conversation may take different lengths of time. When it is clear to both of us what needs to be worked on, I decide what form of intervention is appropriate. If the client is overwhelmed with negative feelings I might use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to reduce the level of emotional charge to the point where the client can think clearly again. I then often use Soul Art Tranceformation, the Process I mentioned before. In this Process the induced trance integrates the subconscious with the conscious.  It is as if you are wide awake and dreaming at the same time. In this integrated state, personality parts that were hidden or suppressed are discovered, acknowledged and reintegrated into the overall personality. The healing effect is often absolutely amazing.

Question

What qualifies you as a coach and what is unique about your approach?

Answer

In addition to my yoga teacher training, I have had training in NLP (Master-Coach), dance therapy, various further training courses in Tao Yoga, EFT, kinesiology and breath therapy. Maybe even more important are my more than 30 years of experience as a yoga and meditation teacher, and my research and philosophical striving for the fundamental principles of a fulfilled human life. I have been a yoga student since the age of 17. I have been self-employed since the age of 18, always following my idea of freedom and happiness. This quest for inner and outer freedom is a source of valuable experiences and insights that make me the coach I am.

I combine professionalism in coaching with personal closeness, I think this too is an important aspect of my work. Today we know from brain research that only genuine human connection, acceptance and trust enable profound processes of change.

Question

Who is your ideal client?

Answer

Anyone who is willing to see that the previous way of doing and thinking helped create the problem at hand. Successful coaching requires self-responsibility. We need the courage to tell the truth. What also gets me excited, is when someone really wants to do whatever it takes to work through a subject to attain a new freedom. If the client brings both of these, the determination and the courage to face the truth, nothing stands in the way of coaching success.
